In the U.S. there has been a marked increase across birth cohorts in the proportion of women who have (ever) had sex with a same-sex partner. Increases among men are much smaller. I theorize that the gender difference reflects the more general tendency for the gender revolution to legitimate “gender bending” change for women more than men.
