Abstract: In this interactive session, we will discuss some of the contextual and research-based considerations that can inform an instructor’s choice in using instructor-formed or student-formed teams. We will provide an overview of a Canvas-integrated team formation and analytics tool, while also sharing strategies to support students in forming their own groups.
